The Great Walks Art and Environment Program is an innovative regional arts development program that aims to promote art and the environment and encourage local communities to explore, experience and enjoy the Great Walks of Queensland through art.

Marian Drew is highly regarded for her innovative approach to photography—literally painting with light. Drew was commissioned to provide a suite of photographic images interpreting all the Great Walks. Along with Maurice Ortega, she also documented artworks and workshop activities across the Program.

ARCIMIX were appointed as the Public Art Project Mangers for the Suncorp Stadium Redevelopment (Lang Park) in Brisbane. This exciting major project was completed mid 2003 for use as a key venue for the Rugby World Cup.

The major commission for Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium redevelopment is this work, 'Veil' and ‘Memory’ by Toowoomba based Artist, Jill Kinnear.
The work was awarded the Public Art category 'Award of Merit' as well as the overall 'Design Excellence Award' at the 2005 Queensland Design Awards

Commissioned under the Queensland Government's Art Built-in Policy, the works for this project were completed during 2001. The site is at Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo in Brisbane.
